WHAT IS RÉSONANCE?
Established in 2012, Résonance is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to engaging, inspiring and challenging those we entertain through eclectic and innovative vocal music performances and compelling collaborations. HOW DO YOU PRONOUNCE RÉSONANCE?
The French pronunciation is "ray-zo-nahns", but in America it is typically said "reh-zah-nuhns". We like to hear it either way!
WHAT STYLE OF MUSIC DO YOU PERFORM?
We love to sing music that tells a great story, whether the style is a capella or with instruments in styles that range from early music to present day traditional choral works and music theater.
WHEN DO YOU PERFORM?
Our performances typically occur between September and June, but you may hear us performing during the summer months, as well.
WHERE DO YOU PERFORM?
We are not limited by the venues where we entertain. You will find us performing in concert halls and churches, in convention centers, restaurants, and more. For a list of recent performance sites, check out the Venues page.
WHEN AND HOW OFTEN DO YOU REHEARSE?
Because our artists have additional skills beyond singing, our rehearsals are condensed to the weeks leading up to a performance. We typically hold rehearsals in the evenings and weekends. We try to avoid rehearsing and performing on Sunday mornings, unless we are singing as part of a service.
