Résonance Festival Choir
Led by Principal Conductor A. Barron Breland, the Résonance Festival Choir is an auditioned choir of professional, young artist and community singers who perform major choral works with orchestra. As a member, you are joining a community in its commitment to bringing engaging, musical story-telling performances to the metropolitan area.
Schedule
The Festival Choir rehearses:
- Sundays from 6:00 - 8:30 pm, August 27 - Oct 8 (No rehearsal September 3)
- Oct 11 and 12 from 7:00 - 9:30 pm: Rehearsal with Orchestra
- Oct 13 at 7:30 pm: Performance at Countryside Community Church
Membership includes

What to Expect after the Audition
- Are you currently singing in an auditioned choir? No need to audition! Simply fill out the Audition Questionnaire to tell us about your current experience.
What to Expect at an In-person Audition (about 15 minutes)
- Fill out an Audition Questionnaire
- Vocalize to show tone color and vocal range
- Sing a familiar song to assess musicianship
- Sing a brief sight-reading excerpt
- Answer any questions you might have about the Festival Choir
What to Expect for a Virtual Audition
- Submit any example of your singing showing off the best quality of your tone and ability
- Submit performance resume (optional, recommended)
What to Expect after the Audition
- Acceptance Notification will be sent August 14
- First rehearsal is August 27
- Membership Dues are due September 1
