ellie johnson
Ellie Johnson has been teaching choir for seven years in the Nebraska Public Schools. She is currently teaching seventh and eighth grade choir and show choir to over 300 students at Bellevue Public Schools. Ellie received her bachelor's degree in vocal music education from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN where she sang as an alto in the Concordia Choir and served as the ensemble's president. She is currently finishing a masters of music education at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.
In addition to her work in the public schools and her academic pursuits, Ellie has taught as a private voice and ensemble instructor for SNJ Studio of Music. She loves exploring all genres of music as well as the different roles and purposes choir can serve and is a firm believer that music-making has a role in everyone's lives. Since 2016, Ellie has performed as an alto with Résonance and serves now as the ensemble music librarian and education specialist. |
